Coach Lawrence A. O’Neal is entering his 2nd year coaching at Pike Road High School. He is a native of Tallassee, Alabama and grew up in the Wall Street community. He is the son of Jackie and Gloria O’Neal. Coach O'Neal is currently the Defensive Coordinator and Career Prep Lead Learner at Pike Road High School. Coach O'Neal graduated from Reeltown High School in 2002 where he lettered in Football, Basketball, and Baseball. He also attended The University of Western Kentucky where he played Defensive Back for 2 years before joining the United States Air Force. While in the Air Force he acquired his Bachelors degree in Business Management from the University of Belleview in Omaha, NE and his Associates degree in Applied Sciences from the Community College of the Air Force. While in the Air Force he worked as a Dental Technician and a Security Force Augmentee. He was honorably discharged from the Air Force in 2011 and Commissioned in the United States Navy in 2013 as a Chaplin Candidate. Coach O'Neal serve as Pastor of Allen Chapel AME Church in Waverly, AL. Coach O'Neal has a Masters in Divinity and a Masters in Education from Samford University.

Coach O'Neal is married to his High School sweetheart Nicole O’Neal and they have been married for 15 years. They have 2 kids together a son Latrevian O’Neal who is a Sophomore at Tuskegee University and a daughter London O’Neal who is a 5th Grader at Reeltown Elementary.
