Pike Road Schools is proud to provide a quality transportation program to the 2,000 plus learners they serve. The School day starts on the school bus and all employees understand the importance of providing safe, reliable, and on-time transportation. This webpage contains information designed to help parents who have questions or need to get updated bus schedule information.
It would be ideal to accommodate all requests regarding door services, changes to bus stop locations, and pick-up times; however it is simply impossible and unsafe to do so. The State of Alabama and Pike Road Schools practice the policies and procedures for the National Center for Safe Routes to School and The Pedestrian and Bicycle Information Center. In addition, we strive to follow guidelines and procedures set forth by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
Please review the transportation guidelines and procedures in order to ensure the safety of a learner who is being transported. Safety is our primary concern. Please ensure you and your child are familiar with and understand the rules, discipline policy, and bus stop procedures that Pike Road City Schools exercises. Student and Parent cooperation is appreciated and necessary for safety.
